Our Mission

The With Love for Lucy Organization is committed to offering a multitude of practical and compassionate services to families and their children who are coping with the day to day challenges of battling a critical illness. We accomplish this mission through the assistance of committed volunteers, area hospitals, local businesses, and global companies who share in our desire to make a difference for the families in and around the Anchorage area during the emotionally and financially challenging times of a medical crisis.

Our goal is to offer transportation, through volunteers, to make it possible for parents to work and children to attend treatment. We will also keep children company as they receive treatment or are in the hospital. It is also our vision to be able to collect items for families, included but not limited to; diapers, clothing, formula, meals, toys, and utilities assistance. The With Love for Lucy organization will also provide paperwork guides and direction to help families apply for assistance when needed for their child and family.

We carry out this mission in memory of sweet Lucy Bell who taught us to persevere in the face of extreme opposition and to show strength and determination even in our weakest moments.
